Hi, I'm Michelle Bochman! 👋
I'm a UX Designer with a mission to design products that both the user and client love.
DINGO Web App
The DINGO web app I designed for the Virginia Department of Corrections streamlined the user's daily workflow processes. By identifying the most frequently used actions, I placed them at the forefront of the interface. This resulted in a one-hour time-saving per user, per day for staff working in the field on their mobile devices.
My work included user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, logo/branding design, and developer handoff/collaboration.

HR Recruitment Website
The Virginia Department of Corrections Human Resources unit required a website that would promote, provide information, and engage potential employees interested in job openings.

While keeping user-centric methodology at the forefront, I conducted user research, drafted information architecture documentation, worked through wireframe iterations via client feedback, collaborated with developers, project managers, content strategists, and analysts to bring the product to life.

Re-entry Bonding Project
The VADOC needed a way for users of the public website, specifically employers to initiate a bond request for potential employees with criminal background. I was assigned to the team to work through the requirements and lead the development of the product.

I conducted user interviews, constructed workflow mapping, user personas, card sorting documentation, wireframes (lo-fi and mi-fi), clickable prototypes, development spec documents, and content outlines.
